Allan Wyatt Jr. is an accomplished Stunt Performer, Stunt Coordinator and 2nd Unit Director.
As a 2nd generation stunt professional, Allan grew up watching his father Allan Wyatt Sr. rise to the top of his craft. His father was the co-founder of the "Stuntman's Association" and was the first recipient of the 1st "Golden Boot Award".
Allan Wyatt Jr. got his first taste of the stunt industry through his father some 52 years ago. His father involved him in his profession from a very young age.
Allan Jr. initially had his sights set on a professional athletic career, with scholarship offers from colleges throughout the United States to play football and baseball. At the age of 18, he signed a contract with the Baltimore Oriole organization and played in their minor leagues for some 4 years.
Professional sports didn't turn out to be all it was cracked up to be for Allan Jr. though. He found it too restrictive and a little on the mundane side for his liking. Allan's adventurous spirit and the early exposure to his father's profession and the limitless boundaries the stunt profession held, pulled him away from the Orioles and into the stunt world.
As any father might be at the thought of his son turning away from such an opportunity, the disappointment over Allan Jr.'s decision brought the two of them closer and soon Dad was teaching him the nuts and bolts of the stunt trade. And what an amazing role model and teacher he was...
In the stunt profession now full time for over 32 years, Allan Wyatt Jr. has worked with some of the most talented and revered producers, directors and crews in the film industry, all the while honing his skills to become an icon in his own right.
During Allan Jr.'s career, he has performed in and coordinated more than 30 feature films, over 500 television episodes including 150 shows on the "Dukes of Hazzard". For 7 years it was Allan behind the wheel of that famous '69 Charger' the "General Lee" and it was Allan Jr. who gave "The General" a character of its own...
